Error Message

The following error message displays when trying to edit an existing chart in
PPT 2000.
"The server application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an
unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application."

Some chart slides display this error when attempting to edit them, and other
slides to not?

Any ideas on this?

Most likely these are linked Excel charts and the original is not present on
your computer. So it has not data to go to that will allow it to be edited.
