error message

I keep getting a box pop up saying "windows explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close" this can happen
5 times in 30 min. usually when i'm listening to music
clips on various sites.Help!!!

Hi,

Is it generating any error ID or any event ID? If you have any error
numbers send it.
Also I would recommend installing following software.

1. Install latest Service Pack 1 for Windows XP1
2. Install latest Internet explorer, IE6 with SP1 from the link
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1e1550cb-5e5d-48f5-
b02b-20b602228de6&displaylang=en

3. Go to www.windowsupdate.com click on scan for updates -> apply all
critical updates.
4. Install antivirus software and apply latest virus updates.

Reply back if it still gives same error.
