Error message

When I try to activate a hyperlink in Outlook, I get this error message "This
operation as been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator." I'm using Firefox 2 as my browser
and am running Windows XP Home. The problem suddenly started today - I've
been using Firefox and Outlook for several years.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Did you apply any IE updates recently?
See if this helps: http://www.slipstick.com/problems/firefox.htm

I did exactly what it said in article from the hyperlink you provided but
this did not solve the problem.

I did not apply any IE updates that I'm aware of (though they may have
pushed one or more that I'm not aware of).

Oops. I've just discovered that the same error message appears when I try to
open a hyperlink I put into a Word 2003 document, which also had been working
fine until today. Ick.
