A CD that has been scanned for bugs is being denied with the following messages

Database update failed
Microsoft.mshtml.dll Registration failed

I have tried everything I know concerning settings with no results

Other similar CDs I do not have a problem with, and thid CD has been
accepted before.

what program are you trying to install ? What does the Cd contain ?

I know for a fact mshtml.dll is related to internet explorer. You can
try re registering the dll file to see whether that helps.

start >> run >> regsvr32 mshtml.dll

let us know the name of the program you are trying to install
