error message

hello i bought i domain and set up an email address for it with freeola and i
can check for new messages with windows mail but when i try to send email it
comes up with error ox800ccc79 i am with tiscali and tried it with the
tiscaki settings and with the freeola settings anyone know hoow i can fix it?
 
I also would be interested in a reply I am having the same problem that
just started with windows mail using Vista Home edition I connect via
att.yahoo.net I can recieve inbound mail but outbound mail I get the same
error message as Kate I logged off att,yahoo and signed back in and still
get the same error message Until today I had no problems but now
I cant send mail only recieve and I can get newsgroups

I just was able to correct my problem

Clicked on Tools -my email account- properties - avanced tab outgoing
mail reqires a secure connection (ssl) checked that box and typed in the
port number I was gived by ATT
apply and ok seems to be working now
maybe this helps Kate

Essentially...
You are logged on to an ISP and you try to send messages through
another ISP's SMTP gateway.

Ok i sent an email to tiscali for an answer and they say i will get a reply
in the next business day, you really are a fountain of knowledge! thankyou i
can stop pulling my hair out now!
