Error Message.

Hello. When I try to boot up my computer I get an error
message that says boot failure sytem halted...a person who
should not have touched the computer at all said that they
had disabled the BIOS.

Can anyone advise?

Phone tech support of the maker of the system, and have them walk you
through resetting the BIOS.

You cannot disable the BIOS. Your best bet is to contact a good local
computer repair person (not a CompUSA/Best Buy type store) and have
them fix your computer. It's going to be a bit complicated to diagnose
and deal with over Usenet.
