Suddenly and for no reason that I can tell, I am getting an error message
upon start up and when I attempt to load certain programs. The message says
that windows cannot find a file
c://windows/warnhp.html
and it prevents my programs from loading. Can anyone tell me what I can do
about this and its this a necessary file? I have not loaded any programs or
downloads in the past two weeks but this started showing up about three days
ago? Any ideas are appreciated.

You have a trojan.

UPDATE your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

UPDATE whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

You might want to start in Safe Mode to run your antivirus and anti-spyware
software.

Running a full system antivirus scan or anti-spyware scan in Safe Mode can
be a good idea. Some viruses and other malware like to conceal themselves
in areas Windows protects while using them. Safe mode will prevent those
applications access and therefore unprotect the viruses or other malware
allowing for easier removal.
