ERROR MESSAGE

I have a Dell Dimension 4500 with Windows XP SP1 Home
Edition OS.
After reinstalling Win. XP with Service Pack 1, I tried
to install a new program & got this ERROR message:
ERROR 1706 No valid source could be found for product
DAO. Windows installer could not continue.
Another message said: Looking for folder containing
installation package DAO.msi'.

How should this be corrected? Should I reinstall Win XP
(Repair)?
