error message

This error message the past few days keeps popping up
everytime i download email or goto the intenet.
The error message is "HXDL.exe has generated errors and
will be closed by windows". Does anybody have any idea
what this message means and does this require a patch to
get rid of this message.

Locate folder where that hxdl.exe is stored. It not standard part of
windows, so if you don't recognize which application it is, it might be even
spyware, virus or hijacker. In that case, first scan vor viruses. Then get
spyware scanner like Ad-Aware form Lavasoft. If Ad-Aware finds unwanted
quests, you might ask more help from www.winguides.com website (look forum
about viruses). There are some experts, who can help you get rid of
hijackers.
