Error message while playing games

getting error while playing IL2 FB. Error reads " file or
directory C:\pagefile.sys ie corrupt and unreadable"

AMD2700+
EpOX8RDA mother board
XP Pro
2 512 sticks pc2700
Gforce Ti4200 VGA
40 gig WD hard drive
onboard sound

Delete the paging file and defrag.
Type paging file\deleting in Help & Support.
After rebooting, rebuild the paging file.

just a thought. pagefile.sys may be the win2k swap file.
research that. if so, the space allocated for swap may be
insufficient, making your game crash as you swap more and
more data -- quite frustrating if you've been at it a
while and you are winning. if that is the case, you may
be able through admin settings to increase the swap file
size and avoid the problem or at least, minimize it.
