Error message when starting standard games in Vista (64)

I have a problem starting the standard Vista games. The following error
mesaage occures: no right graphic devices found.
I have a brand new system with a NVidia Geforce 8600GT and Vista Home
Premium (64bit). Everuthing works fine except the standard Vista games.

Does anyone has the same experience?

Download the newest drivers for your video card from http://www.nvidia.com,
and give that a try.

Thanks for your answer.
I thought I had the newest driv er from the manufacturer of my computer.
It seems it was not. Now I downloaded it from nvidia.com and everything
worked.
