Error message when opening Access 2007

After several months of use, "Microsoft Office Access" can't change the
working directory to (bunch of meaningless characters). Erify drive is valid.

Told to open database go to Tools, Options, General and check default
directory. That option is not available in 2007 version.

DB opens OK, but don't like error messages.

Thanks.

For Access 2007, click the "Office button", then "Access Options",
"Popular", and change the value in "Default database folder" (the second
item under "Creating databases".

Now I'm going to sound really stupid, but where is the Office button. I
uninstalled and reinstalled Office Pro 2007 and have no icons on my desktop
except Windows Mail which I put there yesterday. Have Excel, PowerPoint,
Access in my startup, but no Office.

OK, I went to Start/All Programs/MS Office/no "Access Options."

What am I missing? I am soooo frustrated.

You have to start Access 2007. ONCE you have it running then the Office
button should be available on the ribbon at the top of the window. A
circular "thingie" on the top left of the screen.

That was my oversight, guymaine. I was a bonehead. Thanks to John for
pointing you in the right direction.
