Error Message when installing software

When loading this software I get an error message "The office system pack
cannot be installed on this system because it requires windows NT 4.0 service
pack 6 or later."

I'm running Windows XP Home, I have installed this same program on other
identical machines with no problem.

Has anyone seen this error message before and can you help me?
