error message when importing pst file

I've been using the "tried and true" method of synching the Outlook Calendar
on my work pc with my home pc and pda - I've exported the calendar to a .pst
file, saved it my ftp site, then downloaded and imported the file at home.
It's not the most efficient system, but it's worked reasonably well for
months. I'm running Outlook 2000 at work, and 2003 at home.

Suddenly, I can no longer import the .pst file. I get the following error
message "The operation failed. An object could not be found." Life would be
much simpler if I could synch my pda with my work pc. But, alas, that's not
an option.

Your method is not tried and true. It is deeply flawed. You never import and
export PST files unless you want to lose or corrupt the data.
You open PST files that you want to use.
