On boot I started getting a message "The file was
protected by unregistered version of SVKP!"
Found a file SVKP.sys in Windos/System32
deleting file causes it to be recreated at next boot
What does the message mean? How do I correct / get rid of
it?

Using Microsoft XP Home Edition.

According to Google, SVKP is some sort of anticracking software (?). If
you didn't put it on, try and remove the program from Add/Remove
Programs. Or maybe it was installed with some other software to prevent
piracy, a DRM sort of thing.

I did not install SVKP by that name. There is not anyting
in Add/Remove programs that looks like it so nothing to
remove. I found the internet site for SVKP and it is
located in

AntiCracking
Trnavská 139
900 27 Bernolákovo
Slovak Republic

Is this a legimate company?
Has anyone had a similar problem and resolved it?
