Error Message regarding local profile

I received the following message when I log in.

---Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this
error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If
this problem persists, contact your network administrator. ---

Then it signs me on to a temporary profile. I can't access my music files
or word documents because it will not save any changes made.

Someone help please.
