error message re: "0x01843788"

When closing Explorer I receive the following message:

The instruction at "0x01843788" referenced memory
at "0x01843788". The memory could not be read.

What does this mean? How can I fix it?

Did you find an answer yet... I have the same exact
problem... except my error message reads:
The instruction at 0x017836f8 referenced memory
at "0x017836f8". The memory could not be "read". Click
on OK to terminate the program.

Let me know if you find something because I have tried
everything except for a full systems restore.
