N

Norm

I am getting an error message when starting the browser
that says I have to "Check Content Advisor Settings..."
and then request the password. The NOTE in the KB
says "If you do not know or have forgotten the Supervisor
password, please contact Microsoft Product Support
Services for assistance." I need the password or how to
disable it. I wil then be able to implement the advise
fix. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Norm

Norm,

It's a bad habit to forget passwords. You can manually reset the forgotten Content Advisor password:
http://www.dracon.net/regedit/reg03.html

FIX: (Courtesy : Jim - MVP)
If you wish to restore Content Advisor to its original condition, download this program (CA-Reset.exe - 89.5K)
http://ftp.donaldsonconsulting.net/Microsoft-Support/Content Advisor reset/.
http://ftp.donaldsonconsulting.net/Microsoft-Support/Content Advisor reset/CA-Reset.EXE
NOTE: Using CA-Reset will completely delete your Approved List
