?error message: operation failed

outlook 2002, part of xp office student/teacher CD
when hit send/receive get 'operation failed', no further
info.

reloaded from CD, one anomaly: error 1919 ...blah
blah...ms access database...blah, blah...ODBC error 6,
not using MS access so i said 'ignore'. can't imagine
there is a relation but stranger things happen.

added sp3 update,

looked at OL2002-284311 and 312354 but no help

test function in new email account set-up window says all
operations pass

have outlook express working on same computer to same ISP
and Email provider and Email account just fine.

what next? need coaching please.

Check if you are seeing the correct Knowledge base article. If you have the
same error message you are getting it should help you.
