error message opening outlook 2000 address book

When trying to access the address book or print an email I get the error
message "an error occurred while attempting to open the Windows Address
book". This is a new problem. The program has been functioning OK prior to
last night.
 
Outlook does not use the Windows Address Book. If you are using IMO mode,
then your problem is with Outlook Express. Post a message in an OE group on
how to repair its address book.
