address book error

Im on Windows XP using Outlook 2000

When I try to open the windows address book, I get the following error.

"An error occurred while attempting to opern the windows address book."

This error has rendered Outlook completely useless.

Please help.
 
Post which mail support mode of Outlook 2000 you are using.
