Error message on some web pages??

Hi,
Some web sites (one in three) cause IE to throw up a
small bos:-

ERROR - A runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to de-bug?
Line ***
Error: ***********

** Message instead of stars **

YES NO

If I say YES a debugger window appears which is of no
help to me - - yet!
If I say NO the page appears and all seems well until I
change pages.

This appears to be common to some sites when I always get
the message, other sites are error free.

It is very annoying rather than anything else and any
assistance or advice would be very welcome indeed.

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/scriptdb.htm

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:

or

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Sometimes there's a corrupt file in the cache and one must go to Tools |
Internet Options and click Delete Files.
