error message on desktop after logon

I have had a couple of virus of which PC-cillin got rid
of, but when I start up an error message pops up. Saying
it can not find the .exe or file that the virus created.
The file and/or .exe does not exist as the virus software
removed it. Now how do I get rid of the error message or
is it a scar of the never ending virus war?

You may want to try a more thorough cleaning tool
as it seems one of the possible launching entries in
the registry was not removed.
