error message on certain websites

When I access certain websites using IE 6 with Win 98, I
receive this message instantly when the page
opens: "Internet Explorer has encountered an error and
needs to shut down." One website where this occurs is
www.orbitz.com. I'd appreciate any help.

As in this article. It may be a Java issue.
If you only have Microsoft, try SUN http://java.sun.com.
