Error message "Macro doesn't exist"

Hello -

I have been playing around with my perfectly-functioning database
(specifically trying to add a calendar control to a field and imported
certain things). The files, etc... that I imported, I then deleted since
they did not work properly.

Now, most of my DB is working as it did before, but when I click on several
of my command buttons that I have setup, I am getting the following error
message:

"MS Access can't find the macro "Addresses Macro". The macro or it's macro
group doesn't exist".

I checked under "Macros" and there aren't any.

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Ann,

If you have constantly imported large tables an such then deleted them, you
may have reached the 2 gig limit. Try compacting your database and then try
your macros.

Hi Mike -

Thank you for responding.

I tried compacting and repairing the db, but I'm still getting the error.

I should also mention that I actually never created any macros for the db;
and none are showing under "Macros" in the Database Window; therefore, I'm
not sure where this macro came from.

Would you happen to have any other suggestions?

Thanks again!

Ann -

Do you have backups? Open one of the backups from when the database was
working and look for the macros there. You can import them into the newer
version of your database.
