Error message in Outlook Express 6 Import wizard

I have Windows XP Pro SP1. When trying to import email or newsgroup accounts
(normal .iaf files) in Outlook Express 6
I get the following messages:

No other e-mail (newsgroup) accounts could be found.

Is there any solution to it?

This is a strange thing. I have some .iaf files backed up from a previous
installation of Windows 98. They are in my backup folder somwhere on the
disk in my Windows XP Pro SP1. When I select File\Import\Mail Account
settings... I just get a popup window with the message specified and an
invitation to press OK!!! No browse to a folder, nothing!
