Error Message: IM32FAX.DIL Not Found

Please help. I don't know if this an XP Error message or if it's related to
my Lexmark 7170 printer. Can't find an answer on the web. I've restored my
computer twice and reinstalled the printer software once. I was able to get
the printer working (don't use the fax) but the message appears every time I
turn on the computer. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Something that starts when you boot up is attempting to load this file.
Before you started to restore your computer and reinstall this
printer, did you uninstall any printer or fax application? When you
reinstalled the printer, did you reinstall the fax software, even if you
don't intend to use the fax? Go to control panel > add or remove
programs. Is there any application listed there that looks like a fax
application?

If you can't fix things by either uninstalling a left over fax
application or re-installing the fax software for your printer (if you
really don't intend to use the fax, you might try re-installing the fax
software and then uninstalling it using add/remove programs), you will
have to do some clean boot troubleshooting in order to pinpoint the
culprit.

Go to Start > Run > [type] msconfig.exe [press enter].

Take a look at the Startup tab and see if you can recognize something as
related to a printer and/or fax. Uncheck that item(s), click OK, and
reboot.

If the error message goes away, post back with the name of the item(s)
you prevented from starting.

If that does not make the error message go away, you will have to
disable all of the startup items and re-enable them one at a time,
rebooting each time, until you find the one that causes the problem.
