error message after using microsoft live exchange

i added a microsoft live e-mail account to outlook 2003 and am now getting
this error "the operation failed due to a registry or installation problem.
if the problem persists, please reinstall." i have re-installed several
times; when i do reinstall, the live account is still there and the above
error message reappears when i try to open up my e-mail accounts under the
tools tab. please help me.....
