Error Message 2318

While trying to install security patch KB830347 It would
not install on my computor and gave me an error message
2318. Can anybody help me or have a fix so I can download
and install thia security patch.
 
Hi Richard. Try going here http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/ for
tips and there is also a Microsoft.public.windowsupdate newsgroup where you may want
to post. You may also want to try to install it again booting into safe mode with
networking which is activated by pressing F8 while computer is booted to bring up
optional startup menu. --- Steve
