Error message 1624 "Error applying transforms"

I keep getting error no. 1624 "Error applying transforms. Verify that the
specified transform paths are correct. I don't have a clue what to do
about this. It happens when I am trying to install features from my MS
Word2000 CD.
Please help.

Where was the original installation from? It sounds as if you originally had
a custom network install. You may need to do a full reinstall from the CD to
get rid of this.
