Error message 0x800CCC0F in e-mail

I am getting the message 0x800CCC0F when I try to recieve or send e-mail. I
have read the previous postings regarding Norton. I have uninstalled Norton
and then got the message 0x80042108.

I know all the connections are correct as I can access the account through
my PDA phone. None of the other office accounts are having a problem. I
also deleted the profile and created a new one same message.

I have Windows XP with Office 2003 pro any help would be appreciated
 
Check with your ISP for the correct server settings. Sounds like you've got
an error in the acct setup.
 
This is what I was thinking as well so I deleted the profile all together and
re set up with the same error message. I set up this same account through my
PDA phone and it works. however it still doesn't on the laptop. I deleted
the Profile one more time yesterday and recieved a different message error
code 0x80040900 but it appears to be the same problem.
