Do you get this with other Excel files as well??

The file could be corrupt, or you could have a corrupted toolbar customisation
file. You could try searching for a file called *.xlb and then renaming it to
*.old and the trying to open the file. This is the toolbar customisation file,
so any changes you have made to your toolbars will be lost if you do this (Excel
will just create a new one), but if that wasn't it and you want them back, then
just go look for *.xlb and delete it and then rename *.old back to *.xlb.

File could be corrupt. If so then you could try asking someone with Excel XP or
2003 to try and open it using the Open and repair option. OpenOffice (Free 60MB
download from www.openoffice.org ) is also pretty good at opening Excel files
that excel can't open.

Push comes to shove and you'd like me to try it for you with either of those,
then just let me know.
