Error loading Microsoft Antispyware

I installed 3 days ago and it seemed to work fine . all
of a sudden craps out with error message. I should have
known better than to assume things would be okay. Re-
installed 3 times with the same Error message:

Microsoft has encountered a critical error(Error 101)
blah, blah, blah...

Looks like Microsoft has a real winner here. what a
piece of ____.

The stock suggestion to fix this is to go to Control Panel, add/remove
programs, highlight Microsoft Antispyware, and choose Change, then go on to
choose Update in the dialogs that follow.

Is that what you did when you say that you reinstalled 3 times?

It seems like it would be an equivalent operation, but you might try it that
way just to see.
