Do a search to find the file. Right-click on the file, Properties, and
look under the Version tab. What does it say in the Description,
Program, Version, and Company fields?

My guess is it is used by an nVidia applet you see in the Control Panel
or might be used when adding the nVidia tabs to the Display ->
Settings -> Advanced screen.

Tried reinstalling the video driver and/or software? You might have to
uninstall it first, in which case you should boot into Safe mode to be
using the std. VGA driver and provide a known base set of file for
video. Uninstall and reboot. It used to be that I'd recommend the
second reboot was also into Safe mode so the video driver installation
started with VGA as the current driver. That doesn't seem as important
anymore.

Don't know what nVidia chipset video card you have. Have you gone to
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp to download the
appropriate driver for your video card and Windows version and then
installed it?
From the description of the file, my guess is that the file is used to
add tabs to the Display -> Settings -> Advanced screen. I'm wondering
why it says it is the Windows 2000 when you are asking about Windows XP
(unless maybe nVidia uses the same driver for both which would probably
be okay).
