Error installing Win XP Embedded Database

Hello

I'm trying to install the evaluation version of Windows XP Embedded. I've
downloaded the files from
http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded/usewinemb/xp/tools/lang/default.aspx
and I've already installed the Microsoft SQL Server ( I did not succeed
installing only the SQL Desktop Engine MSDE from the "disk1" dowload files).

When trying to install the Component Database -launching the install file
disk2/Database/WINDOWS XP EMBEDDED DATABASE SP1.MSI
the following error occurs after 'Windows XP Embedded Database SP1 -Setup
Wizard' starts copying files:

"Error 1309: Error reading from file:
C:\......\{347677C8-8935-4D30-8DDA-FB6D701ACF47}.cab. Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it."

The same error occurs for
{022716D8-0CF0-4779-B94C-8E52EB36709C}.CAB and
{484C9D34-846E-40E2-A2E6-FF2771A303D5}.CAB.
All three .cab files exists in the given folder and are accessible,
nevertheless the same error repeats every time I launch the install file.

Anyone knows the reason for this problem and how to solve it?
Appreciate it.

It sure seems like the download is corrupt. An alternative would be to order
the CD of the EVAL. I think it's $3 US to have the CDs sent to you. Or try
downloading again. Can you manually extract the CABs?

Take care.
