error installing HP printer

I get the following error message when trying to install
an HP All-in-one office jet printer:

Error 193
The Windows Installer Service cannot update the system
file c:\Windows\system32\msvcp60.dll because the file is
protected by windows. You may need to update your
operating system for this program to work properly.

I have Windows XP ver 2002 SP1 and the driver software is
hp officejet d series version 3.0 and states it is
compatible with Win XP Pro.

Hello

Go to hp.com and look up your particular model
number and download the current drivers for your printer
do not use the ones off the cdrom www.hp.com
