Error inserting Chart in PP 2002 SP3

One of my end users is receiving the following error when tryin to insert a
chart in powerpoint 2k2 SP3.

"The server application, source file, or item can't be found, or returned an
unknown error. You may need to reinstall the server application"

This error occurs across all windows profiles. I found the explanation of
this error in KB article 328613 however my situation doesn't really match.
Norton AV is not installed...we run Mcaffee V7. I tried the following and it
didn't resolve the issue...please help!!!

-uninstalled/reinstalled powerpoint
-installed all available MS Office updates from the office website.
-disabled McAffee AV

Thanks!!!! That led me to the answer. To anyone else looking at this I
followed these steps:

-The "server" application is graph.exe in this version of Office (2k2)
-Uninstalled graph.exe through custom office install (it's under tools in
the last section)
-Reinstalled the graph.exe by doing a custom office reinstall and choosing
it from the list.
-That resolved my issue.

Have a look here; there are a few other things you can try:

Can't edit Org Chart, Graph, Excel (error msg: "server application, source file,
or item can't be found")
