"Error in running script on this page..."

G.G. Biggar, Jr.

I occasionally run up against this error message when I am attempting to
print a graphic from an Internet web site. Windows will then close down the
program, and I have to start again.

Interestingly, I have the Windows 2000 Pro platform on two of my desktop
computers. On one of them, I never run into this message -- both computers
accessing the same web sites. I run the standard updates from Windows
Update for both computers when new "fixes" become available. I am at a loss
as to why I encounter this problem on one computer, but not the other.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi Gordon:

I'm not sure what browser you're using, but there's a setting in Internet
Explorer 6.0 that will stop these kinds of messages from appearing:

- On the Tools menu, click 'Internet Options...'.
- Click the 'Advanced' tab.
- Under 'Browsing', select 'Disable Script Debugging'.
- Click OK.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Rob
