error in Outlook as email client

A couple weeks ago...when trying to send an email in Internet Explorer 6
SP1, I get an error window saying "Object not found" While I can switch to
OL Express...I would like to fix this so that I can use my Outlook 2003 as I
always have in the past ?

Can someone suggest how to get IE to recognize/use OL 2003 as it used to ?

Reset you web settings; Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs

have done that a couple times...when problem occurs... OL is the default
program ?
