Error in Outlook 5

Hi All,

My wife has a PC that is still running Windows 98. Talk
about a blast from the past! She is running Outlook 5.

Recently she was receiving the following error whenever
trying to run Outlook 5. Cleaning out old mail 'APPEARED'
to fix the problem. Has anybody seen this error before?

The machine probably needs new video drivers. Check the site of the video
board's
manufacturer. Meanwhile you can do the following:
1. Turn down color depth. (Right click the desktop and choose
Properties | Appearance | Settings) Some people find that increasing color
depth helps.
2. Turn down graphics hardware acceleration. (Start | Settings |
Control Panel | System | Performance | Graphics button) You will see
little, if any, performance degradation.

If these make the problem go away, new video drivers are needed.
