Error in LDAP Service. Help!

L

Leonardo

Two messages are reported in the Event Viewer when I reboot my W2K Server:
1. The server failed to start due to an initialization error. Verify the
configuration. Error description is: GetLastError()=997 : CreateAccount for
Anonymous users.
2. Site Server LDAP Service cannot initialize the following object:
GetLastError()=997 : Init LdapExtension.

Then, the NetLogong service does not start automaticaly.

Anyone can help?

Thanks much,
Leonardo

Hello Leonardo,

Please post the complete error message. Is it windows 2000 and which SP do
you use, also fully patched?

Best regards

The solution did not work. In fact, the article refers to LDAP SVC error 87
and 1909 whereas the error message I get refers to LDAP SVC error 997.

Any other tip?

Thanks in advance
