Everytime I play a flash or java game for more than a
minute or two, I get this error message: "IEXPLORE caused
an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.dll at
017f:bff614ac." This shuts down the browser. I am able to
re-open it, but I cannot view any flash or java at all
until I restart the computer. I am using windows ME and
have tried to reinstall internet explorer, java, and flash
multiple times. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You might check the information here and see if it helps with your problem.
If not, please post back here with the results.

GENERIC KERNEL32.DLL ERROR CHECKLIST

Troubleshooting KERNEL32.DLL Errors:

Also download, install, update and run the free programs here in addition to
your Adaware. Sometimes one will detect something the other did not. It's a
good rule of thumb to always run both SpyBot and AdAware jointly.

You *MUST* update the programs before running

SpyBot:

or
http://majorgeeks.com/download2471.html

(SpyBot has released a new update of yesterday, thus some of the location
sites may be busy, so try some of the other locations if you don't get an
update right off.)

AdAware: Free

Well, I checked out those sites and here's the results so
far. I updated my graphics drivers from intel, updated my
graphics drivers from nvidia, and I ran both adaware and
spybot (which I already had). I.E. still closes after a
few minutes of flash. So no luck so far. I'm gonna try
some of the other fixes on that website about kernel32.dll
and see if I get any results from that. One question, how
do you edit your config.sys file? I know how to run
msconfig, but couldn't find anything that related to the
config.sys file. Thanks again.

I've never edited the Config.sys myself, although I have the Autoexec.Bat.
However, the information below might help you.
