Error in Event Log

Does anybody know how to fix this? Running XP on Pentium M 1.7 GHz machine.

I'm getting the error each time I restart XP. I recently loaded and executed
System Mechanic 6 Professional.

The BrPar service may be referring to brpar.sys. Do you have a Brother
printer or other device? Is there a brpar file on your system? Is it a
Brother
driver?

The references in Google to Parallel arbitrator group are obscure.
Are you using a third party Service Manager? What is the StartUp type
of the Parallel arbitrator? If you can find it try setting it to automatic.

Thanks for the tip. I do have a Brother printer; I reinstalled the driver
and for the moment it seems to be working ok. I found somewhere online that
that brpar.sys is name that is used by some virus, so System Mechanic must
have deleted it.

I also saw the reference to spyware but whilst there was a positive
statement
there was an absence of supporting reports.

Does System Mechanic maintain any log or backup of files it deletes?
