OS: Win2000 SP4
Office Version: Office 2000. COmmpletely Updated.

When configuring a users Internet(POP3) and Exchange
email, Outlook will not recognize the Exchange server, and
Exchange will not recognize Outlook. The Problem is to
this computer specifically; I have had no problem setting
up thier acct on other computers.

When Outlook is opened, I encounter this error:
The Microsoft Exchange Address Book was unable to log on
to the Microsoft Exchange Server Computer. Contact your
system administrator if the problem persist.

When I click OK, I get the error This Action could not be
Completed. Then I am asked to verify the exchange server,
and using the "check name" function to verify the user
name. If you click to verify the errors state that the
name cannot be resolved. It will not resolve the
Administrator email or my personal email either.

Any Clues?
Thanks for your help.

Have you verified this PC's TCP/IP settings?

Can you ping the Exchange Server?
(Start | Run | enter cmd.exe | OK - Enter PING servername)

If you run NSLOOKUP (enter NSLOOKUP servername), does it find an entry for
this server in DNS?

Usually in C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook or
C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. Enable
hidden files and folders.
