Error for distribution list

I keep getting an error 'The name or distribution list has been deleted and
is no longer a valid Address Book entry. The operation failed. An object
could not be found.' I get this error when I select a DISTRIBUTION contact
(i.e. Family) to send an email.

I've went into the Family contact distribution list and hit UPDATE NOW. It
gave me a message about conflicts (delete problem, try to resolve, etc...I
can't remember the error). I chose to have it try to fix the problem and
saved it. I still can't send an email using this distribution contact.

How can I fix this problem?

DL's often become corrupt after they have been in existence for an extended
period of time (like several days). You cannot fix them. If you want to use
DL's you should expect to need to recreate them often. Most of us don't use
them because they are too unreliable.
