Error Executing Switchboard Command

Peridocially I will get an error "Error executing command" when I click on a
doCmd.Open control on a switchboard form. The doCmd.open is calling up a user
search form. Compacting and repairing seems to resolve the issue but I
shoudln't be getting the error in the first place? Anyone have any ideas or
comments on switchboards popping up this error? Thanks group.

Found the problem. When I click on a control to go the switchboard, the
current form that I am leaving is maximized. Even though the switchboard form
opens and overlays this form, commands on the swicthbard when you click them
may produce an error in thier execution. The workaround is to open the
swicthboard form while at the same time doing a acForm close on the
underlying form. This way only one form is opened at any one time and no more
problems with the switchboard! Just thought I would share this for someone
who may have similar problems.
