Error encountered at the end of downloading messages

I was able to send out messages. But when the Microsoft Outlook 2000 (SP-3)
tries to download my email, it encounter error at the end of the download.
Immediately after you see the progress bar show, say, 10 of the emails have
been downloaded, it display an error: "10 messages couldn't be retrieved from
the server...."

I have checked that my configurations at ok, including my POP3 settings.
Infact, it was working fine, until i did a window 2000 update patching. Not
sure if that has caused the problem. Any idea how i can solve this problem?

BTW, the error # is 0x80040403

Try delete a message from your inbox. You may have reached the inbox limit.
I am having a similar problem.
