Error deleting files

I have a recurring problem of not being able to delete
files from my Windows XP system. I get a message
saying "Cannot delete "filename": It is being used by
another person or program. Close any programs that mgiht
be using the file and try again."

What could be causing this problem?

Hi Evan,

Could be many things. For media files, first open the media player and
remove the file(s) from the playlist. Then close and retry deleting them.
