Error copying file of folder

I get and error "cannot create or replace xxx: access is
denied". The folder is marked as read only and I cannot
change this. I uncheck the box and it doesn't stay
unchecked. Is there a setting that I am missing? I am
logged in as the administrator.
 
You can use the attrib command at a cmd prompt to remove the read only
attribute.
