MASTERCHIEF

I have a number of programs that will not load on my system.
I get an error code 1607 unable to install instashield
scripting runtime. this only happens on WIN2000. The programs
load fine on WIN ME. Any suggestions.

This error can be caused by several things

Also you might want to check your permissions of your registry

The Administrators group might not have permissions to access the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE key in the registr
RESOLUTION -> Try adding the Administrators group to the permissions list, and then gave it "Full Control" acces
